Lace
Ok, so I know lace is very A/W 2009.2010, but I absolutely adore the stuff. I'm in quite a romantic, fairytale-ish mood today (no idea why), and I think lace personifies this to the fullest extent. It's so dramatic, yet womanly. I love it :) And I especially loved Valentino's lace masks for last winter season:
